Hong Kong Disneyland® is looking for Male and Female Vocalists ready for a life-enriching experience in one of the world's most exciting and exotic locales!

Mickey & the Wondrous Book:

Festival of the Lion King:

Simba - Male, youthful African Prince destined to become King. Moves well. Pop tenor.

Scar - Male, African evil uncle to Simba. Menacing presence. Baritone.

Nala - Female, beautiful African Princess. Moves well. Pop Soprano.

Storyteller - Female, African host who tells the story of "The Lion King". Soulful pop alto.


Welcome Wagon Show:

Miss Kitty- The sultry and spirited proprietress of the local saloon in the new gold mining town of Grizzly Gulch. Singer/Actress/Street Performer that moves well. A brassy alto – strong G below middle C to C (possibly a mixed C#).

- All applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of audition and willing to relocate to Hong Kong for the duration of their contract.
- Six-months contract begin in 2nd quarter of 2019.
- Please bring a copy of your current photo and CV.
- Prepare two (2) contrasting song selections (16 bars each) that best showcase your vocal range and ability. Provide clearly marked sheet music in the correct key for the accompanist. Prerecorded accompaniment tracks or a cappella auditions are not allowed.
- Sign in begins half hour prior to each call
- Potential callbacks to be held at the same day afternoon

Shake&Stir 2020 In-School Touring Team Auditions

shake & stir, one of Australia’s leading contemporary touring theatre companies is holding auditions for its 2020 QLD & NSW in-school touring seasons. 

shake & stir provides a dynamic, fast-paced and challenging professional theatre environment and this position is a fantastic opportunity for talented young performers of any gender and from all ethnic backgrounds with a passion for Shakespeare and a keen interest in performing for young people.

Auditions will be used to cast January 2020 – November 2020 in-schools touring with contract lengths ranging 2 months to 12 months.

A NOTE ON MAIN STAGE CASTING/NATIONAL TOURING:
shake & stir receives many enquiries about auditions for main stage productions and national touring. While these auditions are usually by invitation only, those performers auditioning for in-school touring, who show particular talent and/or potential, will be considered for future main stage and national touring.

Experience/relevant actor training is highly desired.

To apply for an audition: Please send a current headshot and acting CV to auditions@shakeandstir.com.au. You will then be contacted should the Artistic Directors wish to see you for an audition. If you have auditioned for shake & stir in the last 24 months, there is no need to re-apply for another audition, you will be automatically considered.

Please note that these are not general auditions and not all applicants will be seen.

Applicants need to prepare one Shakespeare piece (1 min – own choice) and one contemporary monologue (each 1 min – own choice). Pieces should contrast and demonstrate your full dramatic range and skills base. shake & stir theatre co looks for actors with fantastic physicality, great vocal skills, contagious enthusiasm and endless energy and drive. Easy!

 All applicants must be 18+ years old and possess a current QLD blue card and a QLD drivers licence with a good driving history.

 Auditions will be held on Saturday 14 September 2019 at the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts, Fortitude Valley, individual times TBC.
